About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Web Developer Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development, with a good understanding of front-end technologies, website performance, security, and responsive design.
The role involves developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing websites while working closely with design, content, SEO, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
- Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and website functionalities based on project requirements.
- Develop and customize Shopify stores, themes, sections, and features.
- Convert design layouts into responsive and functional web pages.
- Work with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Liquid, and other relevant web technologies.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, responsiveness, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, technical issues, and functionality errors.
- Manage website updates, maintenance, backups, security patches, and technical improvements.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across major browsers and devices.
- Implement basic technical SEO and website best practices in coordination with the SEO team.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, plugins, applications, and other website services when required.
- Work with WooCommerce and Shopify eCommerce functionality, including products, collections, payments, and integrations.
- Coordinate with designers, content teams, SEO teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct website testing and quality checks before and after deployment.
- Monitor website performance and resolve issues identified through tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.
- Stay updated with the latest developments, features, and best practices in WordPress, Shopify, and web development.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, customization, and page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
- Working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme customization, and Shopify store management.
- Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Understanding of website hosting, domains, cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and basic server management.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of basic technical SEO and website structure.
- Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce websites.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple website projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
- Experience working in a digital, advertising, branding, or web development agency is preferred.
- Experience with API integrations and third-party services.
- Experience in developing and maintaining eCommerce websites.
- Knowledge of website analytics and performance monitoring tools.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
