Role Overview
The Growth Marketing & Category Insights Manager will help Brillare identify where
to play, what to launch, and how to take products to market. This role combines
category analysis, consumer and competitor intelligence, new product development
marketing, launch planning, and commercial insight. The ideal candidate can move
from research and spreadsheets to a clear recommendation, and then help turn that
recommendation into an executable growth plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Track category growth, emerging consumer needs, price bands, formats, claims, ingredients, channels, and competitive activity across beauty and personal care.
- Build structured competitor maps covering portfolio, pricing, communication, content, launches, offers, distribution, reviews, and marketplace performance.
- Translate marketplace, social, search, sales, consumer, and field inputs into clear category insights and growth opportunities.
- Partner with product and R&D teams on NPD opportunity sizing, concept development, proposition, claims hierarchy, naming, pricing, pack architecture, and launch readiness.
- Develop go-to-market plans for new launches, including audience, channel role, communication hierarchy, content requirements, sampling, influencer, marketplace, salon, and retail inputs.
- Prepare category reviews, launch trackers, monthly business analyses, and leadership-ready recommendations.
- Identify growth gaps across acquisition, conversion, repeat, assortment, pricing, and communication, and recommend tests to address them.
- Work with performance, social, e-commerce, sales, and creative teams to ensure insights are converted into briefs and market actions.
- Monitor launch performance against agreed KPIs and document learnings for future products and campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in growth marketing, category management, consumer insights, brand strategy, e-commerce, or business analytics.
- Strong analytical ability with confidence in Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, data interpretation, and structured problem solving.
- Ability to distinguish an observation from an insight and convert analysis into a commercially useful recommendation.
- Good understanding of consumer brands, digital commerce, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable creating clear presentations for cross-functional and leadership teams.
- High ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort working across multiple projects.
Good to Have
- Experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, FMCG, D2C, or marketplace-led businesses.
- Exposure to tools such as Google Trends, Meta Ads Library, marketplace analytics, social listening, or consumer research.
- Understanding of NPD stage gates, product claims, packaging, and launch processes.
Pay: Up to ₹34,000.00 per month
