Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before, during, and after procedures.
- Assist doctors and the clinical team during OT procedures.
- Ensure OT instruments, equipment, and consumables are sterilized and readily available.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain OT hygiene standards.
- Monitor and check OT equipment for proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records related to OT procedures and inventory.
- Coordinate with nursing and support staff for smooth OT operations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Experience working in an Operation Theatre setup.
- Knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization, and infection control practices.
- Ability to handle OT instruments and medical equipment efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Professional attitude and patient-focused approach.
Eligibility
- Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant OT experience.
- Karapakkam: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience in IVF, Fertility, Gynecology, or Hospital OT will be an added advantage.
