Job Description
ProHitech Engineering Services LLP is looking for an experienced Senior Quality & Laboratory Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our civil material testing laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations and testing activities.
- Prepare daily test schedules and allocate work to the laboratory team.
- Monitor testing progress and take regular updates from the team.
- Maintain test records, worksheets, registers and NABL documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NABL / ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, project teams and concerned authorities.
- Provide technical explanations and clarifications regarding tests and results.
- Monitor equipment calibration, testing quality and laboratory discipline.
- Analyse testing data and prepare MIS, performance reports and management updates.
- Prepare testing schedules, trackers and reports using MS Excel.
- Prepare technical documents using MS Word and presentations using MS PowerPoint.
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth functioning and quality of the laboratory.
Candidate Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in a civil/material testing laboratory.
- Experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory is mandatory/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL requirements.
- Experience in team management and laboratory operations.
- Good knowledge of civil material testing such as concrete, soil, aggregate, cement, steel, bitumen/asphalt, etc.
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data analysis and reporting.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Candidate should be capable of independently handling laboratory operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
