Job Title: Tool Maintenance & VMC Programmer

Job Description
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of plastic injection moulds.
- Operate and program VMC machines for manufacturing and repairing mould components.
- Read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Prepare CNC/VMC programs using CAM software and optimize machining parameters.
- Manufacture mould inserts, cores, cavities, sliders, and other precision components.
- Inspect machined components using measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Assemble, trial, and rectify moulds to achieve production readiness.
- Troubleshoot mould issues and carry out modifications to improve tool performance.
- Maintain tooling records, maintenance history, and machining documentation.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Design, Production, and Quality departments to complete tooling activities on time.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company quality standards in the tool room.
- Ensure proper maintenance of VMC machines, cutting tools, and measuring equipment.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of Injection Mould Maintenance.
- Experience in VMC machine operation and CNC programming.
- Familiarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Powermill, NX CAM, or equivalent).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of mould assembly and troubleshooting.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
