Job Description
Testing Coordination & Support
-
Coordinate testing activities across product teams for large initiatives, integrations, or cross-functional releases.

Support teams in planning testing activities, timelines, dependencies, and release readiness.

Assist Product Owners and delivery teams with identifying appropriate testing approaches and strategies.
-
Help facilitate communication and coordination between teams during testing and release activities.

Escalate testing risks, gaps, or coordination issues as needed.
Testing Coordination & Support

Testing Standards & Governance
-
Help establish and maintain organizational testing standards, templates, and best practices
-
Support governance processes related to testing documentation, quality checkpoints, and release readiness.

Promote consistency in testing processes across product teams.
-
Assist with monitoring adherence to testing standards and quality expectations.
-
Support defect tracking, reporting, and quality-related metrics activities.
Tools, Methods & Process Improvement
-
Support testing tool administration, configuration, and process improvements.
Help identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, reporting, coordination, and visibility. -
Assist teams with adoption of testing tools, templates, and standard methodologies.
Support implementation of test management and quality reporting capabilities.
Promote continuous improvement in testing practices and operational processes.

Reporting & Metrics

Maintain testing dashboards, status reporting, and quality metrics for leadership and delivery teams.

Provide visibility into testing progress, defect trends, and release readiness activities.
Support collection and reporting of quality-related KPIs and operational metrics. -
Assist leadership with identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
Collaboration & Partnership
-
Provide guidance and consultation to teams on testing coordination and quality processes.

Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineering, and Product Line leadership to support quality-focused delivery practices.
-
Participate in agile delivery routines and release planning activities as needed.
-
Help foster a culture of shared ownership for quality and testing across the organization.
Education & Professional Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field
-
Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or quality engineering roles within IT organizations.
-
3+ years of leadership or management experience in testing or quality-focused roles.
-
Experience supporting agile application development and product delivery organizations.
-
Proven experience developing enterprise testing strategies, governance models, and quality standards.
-
Experience leading testing coordination across multiple teams and complex initiatives.
-
Experience implementing or managing test automation frameworks and testing tools.
-
Experience with release management, defect management, and quality metrics reporting.
Knowledge / Experience
-
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
-
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and software delivery lifecycle processes.
-
Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, qTest, ALM, or similar platforms.
-
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
-
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support cross-functional teams.
-
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement opportunities.
