We are looking for a creative Architectural Designer who will be responsible for designing and planning architectural projects for our local & international clients. In this position, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop designs that meet their requirements. You will also be expected to create detailed drawings and specifications, as well as oversee the construction process to ensure that the final product meets the design standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Create and develop architectural designs and concepts for various projects.
· Produce detailed drawings, plans, sections, elevations and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
· Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information necessary for design development.
· Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success.
· Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide design solutions accordingly.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies to incorporate into designs.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project correspondence.
Qualification:
· Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree
· 5+ years of post-graduate, professional firm experience
Skills:
· Proficient in AutoCAD
· Computer proficiency in Revit will be an advantage
· Expertise in hand drawing and designing, including colour rendering
· Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications and presentation skills
· Experience in producing construction documents
· Creative thinking with strong design and graphics skills
· Ability to multi task and work well under deadlines
· Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.
