Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Purchase Executive with hands-on experience in sourcing and procurement of PET Bottle Preforms used in the beverage industry. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, purchase planning, price negotiations, inventory coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of preforms to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure PET Bottle Preforms as per production and sales forecasts.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable preform suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid production disruptions.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure purchased preforms meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Track market trends in PET resin and packaging materials to optimize procurement costs.
- Maintain supplier performance records and conduct periodic vendor evaluations.
- Resolve issues related to material quality, shortages, and delayed deliveries.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and management updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of procurement experience in Beverage, Packaging, FMCG, or Manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience in purchasing PET Bottle Preforms is mandatory.
