Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for experienced Appian Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise low-code solutions on the Appian platform. Works with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, production-ready applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Appian applications: process models, SAIL interfaces, expression rules, records, sites, and reports.
- Build and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP, web services, OAuth, JSON/XML) and integration objects.
- Design and manage data models, CDTs, data stores, and SQL queries for performance and integrity.
- Implement security (roles/groups/rules), access control, and compliance best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Produce technical designs, specifications, unit test cases, and deployment documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide estimates, and deliver sprint commitments.
- Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce development standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/Git workflows).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must Have Skills:
- 3–8 years hands-on Appian development experience.
- Strong SAIL, process modeling, expression rules, record configuration, and integration experience.
- Proficient with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, JSON/XML, and common integration patterns.
- Solid SQL and relational database experience; experience with CDTs and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile methodology and source control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Appian RPA, Intelligent Document Processing, or BPMN best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization, and enterprise deployments.
- Appian Certified Associate Developer - Good to have
- Prior experience integrating Appian with ERP/CRM/document management systems.
- Performance tuning on enterprise-scale Appian implementations.
