We are looking for a passionate 3D Artist & Educator who brings real industry experience into the classroom. This is not just a teaching role — you will lead the 3D Animation Department, define creative standards, and help shape industry-ready artists.
Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Mentoring
- Conduct hands-on training across the complete 3D production pipeline (concept to final render)
- Teach Character Animation as a core subject with depth and clarity
- Review student work and provide structured, constructive feedback
- Guide students in building strong portfolios and demo reels
2. Department Leadership
- Lead and manage the 3D Animation Department (curriculum, labs, and team)
- Design and update course content aligned with industry standards
- Maintain high-quality output and creative benchmarks
- Collaborate with placement teams for student opportunities
3. Industry Integration
- Organize guest lectures, masterclasses, and live project sessions
- Keep curriculum aligned with current Indian & global industry needs
- Build an engaging and creative student learning environment
Core Skill Requirement – Character Animation (Must-Have)
- Strong expertise in Character Animation with a professional demo reel
- Deep understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation
- Advanced keyframe animation (Graph Editor, timing, spacing)
- Strong body mechanics and realistic motion understanding
- Character acting: facial expressions, lip-sync, performance animation
- Experience in film, OTT, gaming, advertising, or TV production
- Knowledge of rigging basics (IK/FK, constraints)
Supporting Skills – 3D PipelineModeling
- Hard surface & organic modeling
- Clean topology and edge flow
- Optimization for animation-ready assets
Texturing & Shading
- UV unwrapping and layout
- PBR workflow (Albedo, Roughness, Normal maps)
- Substance Painter (texturing & baking)
- Marmoset Toolbag (rendering & presentation)
Rigging
- Joint setup, IK/FK systems
- Skinning and weight painting
Lighting & Rendering
- Studio & cinematic lighting
- Rendering using Arnold, V-Ray, or Cycles/EEVEE
Software SkillsMust Have
- Autodesk Maya – Expert
- Blender – Proficient
- Substance Painter – Proficient
- Marmoset Toolbag – Intermediate
Good to Have
- ZBrush – Intermediate
- After Effects – Basic

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience (Animation / VFX / Gaming / Media)
- Strong Character Animation Demo Reel (Mandatory)
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Up-to-date with current industry workflows
- Degree in Animation / Fine Arts / Multimedia (preferred, not mandatory)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
