Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Export) with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in international business development, client empanelment, vendor management, regulatory documentation, and export licensing. The candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's international presence by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and expand export business opportunities across international markets.
- Develop strategic relationships with overseas distributors, importers, government agencies, hospitals, and institutional buyers.
- Manage complete client empanelment processes with international organizations, government tenders, NGOs, and procurement agencies.
- Handle vendor registration and empanelment with global pharmaceutical buyers.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
- Coordinate with regulatory, production, quality assurance, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely processing of export documentation and statutory compliance.
- Manage the complete export licensing process, including regulatory approvals and documentation.
- Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, B2B meetings, and business development events.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, MIS reports, and revenue projections.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to achieve sustainable business growth.
- Handle payment follow-ups, customer queries, and after-sales support.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific pharmaceutical regulations and import requirements.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- MBA in International Business, Marketing, or Sales is preferred.

- 5–10 years of pharmaceutical export business development experience.
- Experience in regulated and semi-regulated international markets.
- Existing network with international distributors, importers, procurement agencies, and institutional buyers.
