We are looking for a Social Media Manager with 3–4 years of agency experience who is a dual-threat: a creative producer who can script and edit high-performing Instagram Reels and a researcher who can build authoritative, long-form LinkedIn content calendars.
You understand that Instagram is about visual storytelling and trends, while LinkedIn is about authority and industry insight. You have the "agency hustle" to manage both without losing quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Reel Production (End-to-End): You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Reels—from trend spotting and scripting to filming and editing (CapCut/Adobe Premiere Rush). You know how to hook an audience in the first 1.5 seconds.
- Data-Backed Content Calendars: Develop monthly content calendars for LinkedIn and Instagram that aren't just "fillers." You will perform deep-dive research into industry trends, competitor whitepapers, and audience pain points to ensure every post adds value.
- Platform Differentiation: Translate a single core idea into two distinct formats: a punchy, aesthetic Reel for IG and a well-structured, insightful thought-leadership post or carousel for LinkedIn.
- Client Interfacing: Lean on your agency background to present these calendars to clients, explaining the strategic "why" behind your research and creative choices.
- Community Cultivation: Engage with industry leaders on LinkedIn and foster a vibrant community on Instagram through active story management and comment interaction.
Required Skills & Experience
- The Agency Pedigree: 3–4 years of experience in a fast-paced agency environment. You thrive on tight deadlines and can manage 3–5 clients simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
- Mobile Video Mastery: Expert-level skills in mobile cinematography and editing. You understand lighting, pacing, and how to use trending audio strategically.
- The "Researcher" Mindset: Ability to take complex topics (SaaS, Finance, Lifestyle, etc.) and distill them into educational LinkedIn content that builds brand authority.
- Advanced Copywriting: You can write both "vibe-heavy" captions for IG and professional, high-conversion copy for LinkedIn.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Social scheduling softwares, Canva/Figma (design), and CapCut/Premiere (video).
What Success Looks Like
- For Instagram: Consistent growth in reach and "saves" via high-value Reels.
- For LinkedIn: Increased engagement rates and positioning the client as a "Top Voice" in their respective industry through well-researched commentary.
