Job Title: Vice Principal

Position Overview
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in the overall administration, academic leadership, and smooth functioning of the ICSE school. The role involves supervising academic programs, maintaining discipline, guiding faculty, ensuring compliance with ICSE norms, and fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
Job Summary:
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in the overall administration, leadership, and daily operations of the school. This role helps ensure a safe, productive, and positive learning environment while promoting academic excellence, student development, and staff effectiveness.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Support the implementation of curriculum and instructional programs
- Monitor teaching standards and classroom performance
- Assist in evaluating teachers and providing professional development support
- Analyze student performance data and recommend improvement strategies
Student Discipline & Welfare
- Enforce school policies and code of conduct
- Address student behavioral issues and implement disciplinary actions when necessary
- Promote student well-being, safety, and positive school culture
- Meet with parents regarding academic or behavioral concerns
Administrative Duties
- Assist in developing school schedules and timetables
- Oversee attendance records and reporting
- Support admissions and student placement processes
- Manage daily school operations in the absence of the Principal
Staff Supervision
- Support recruitment, orientation, and evaluation of teaching and non-teaching staff
- Conduct meetings and communicate school policies
- Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff
School Operations & Safety
- Ensure compliance with education regulations and school policies
- Coordinate school events, examinations, and extracurricular activities
- Oversee campus safety procedures and emergency preparedness
Community & Parent Engagement
- Maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians
- Represent the school in meetings and community events
- Support communication between the school and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license
- Several years of teaching experience (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
