Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by designing and implementing robust automated test cases and frameworks. Your goal is to identify bugs early, improve test coverage, and speed up development cycles through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web/mobile/API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and create detailed test plans.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and manage test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Contribute to performance and load testing where needed.
- Continuously improve test processes and advocate for best QA practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in automated testing of web applications
- Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST-assured, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows and QA life cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
