The position requires a candidate with strong field experience in the relevant area, along with excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with scientists and biogas plant operators. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and evaluation of developed formulations
- Conducting pot and field trials
- Data collection, record maintenance, and data analysis
- Preparation and submission of reports and manuscripts
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences- Chemistry- or allied Life Sciences with at least 65% marks.
- Strong understanding of biomass analysis- biochemicals- or biomaterials-based technologies
- Additional knowledge of soil-plant-microbe interactions and nutrient cycling
- Experience in conducting agricultural field trials
- Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as SAS- R- or SPSS
