Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly creative and commercially minded design professional who can lead new product development across bags, sustainable accessories and print-led concepts for international customers.
This role requires someone who understands aesthetics, fashion/accessory trends, materials, functionality, and commercial manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop innovative bag concepts across:
* tote bags
* fashion bags
* gifting bags
* promotional bags
* sustainable accessories
* Create original print designs, graphics, artwork and trend-led collections
* Develop seasonal design concepts for international markets:
* Spring/Summer
* Fall/Holiday
* Christmas
* Valentine
* Back-to-school
* retail launches
* Research global fashion, retail and packaging trends
* Work closely with merchandising and production teams to convert concepts into production-ready developments
* Develop client presentation collections and concept boards
* Source trims, accessories, materials and innovative finishes
* Support custom developments for international buyers
* Coordinate prototype/sample development with internal teams
* Ensure designs are commercially viable and manufacturable

Candidate Profile:
* Degree/diploma in Fashion Design / Accessories Design / Textile Design / Product Design
* 4–10 years experience in:
* bags
* handbags
* fashion accessories
* lifestyle products
* gifting / packaging design
* Strong skills in:
* Adobe Illustrator
* Photoshop
* CorelDRAW (optional)
* Strong understanding of:
* print development
* materials/fabrics
* trims/accessories
* construction details
* international design trends
* Experience working with export houses / fashion accessory brands preferred
