Job Summary
The Associate Director – Cyber Security Solutions will lead the cybersecurity presales function, driving solution design, technical consulting, bid management, and sales enablement activities. The role is responsible for translating customer requirements into scalable, commercially viable cybersecurity solutions while supporting revenue growth and strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Presales Leadership
- Lead and mentor the Cyber Security Presales team.
- Establish presales processes, solution frameworks, and best practices.
- Drive technical strategy for large and complex opportunities.
- Support achievement of cybersecurity business revenue targets.
2. Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions covering
- Network Security
- Cloud Security
- SOC & Managed Security Services
- Endpoint Security
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Data Security & DLP
- Vulnerability Management
- Zero Trust & SASE Architectures
- Develop technical architectures, BoQs, SoWs, and implementation approaches.
3. Bid Management & Proposal Development
- Own responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders.
- Create techno-commercial proposals and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with OEMs and internal stakeholders for solution validation.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
4. Customer Engagement
- Conduct customer discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and executive briefings.
- Lead PoCs and PoV engagements.
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for enterprise customers.
5. Sales Enablement
- Support sales teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Develop solution positioning and competitive differentiation strategies.
- Provide technical training to sales teams and channel partners.
- Participate in customer meetings to accelerate deal closures.
6. OEM & Partner Management
- Build and maintain relationships with cybersecurity OEMs.
- Stay updated on licensing models, pricing, and product roadmaps.
- Develop joint GTM initiatives with strategic partners.
7. Market Intelligence
- Monitor cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and competitor offerings.
- Identify new solution opportunities and service offerings.
- Recommend enhancements to the cybersecurity portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 10–15+ years of IT/Cyber Security experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a Cyber Security Presales leadership role.
- Strong experience in enterprise solutioning, bid management, and customer-facing engagements.
- Experience with OEMs such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Check Point, Sophos, and Trend Micro.
