Job Summary
We are looking for AutoCAD Draftsmen to support the LV Switchboard Design Department. The role involves preparing, modifying, and updating engineering drawings based on instructions from senior design engineers. The selected candidates will support multiple engineering teams across India by delivering accurate and timely drawing modifications.
This is a drafting-focused role requiring basic electrical engineering knowledge and an understanding of LV switchboards and engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify LV switchboard engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Update General Arrangement (GA), Single Line Diagram (SLD), wiring diagrams, and fabrication drawings.
- Revise drawings based on customer comments and engineering instructions.
- Ensure consistency between drawings and related engineering documents.
- Coordinate with multiple engineering teams across India for drawing updates.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control records.
- Deliver drawing modifications within project schedules.
- Support engineers in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD (2D).
- Basic understanding of LV switchboards, MCC, PCC, APFC panels, Distribution Boards, or Control Panels.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of engineering documentation and drawing revisions.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Qualification
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering.
- ITI Draftsman (Electrical) with relevant AutoCAD experience may also apply.
- Freshers with AutoCAD knowledge and basic panel understanding are welcome.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical drafting is preferred.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on qualification and experience)
Working Days
Monday to Friday (Timing : 8:45am to 6:45pm)
Preferred Candidates
- Experience in LV switchboard or control panel drafting.
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, or L&T switchboard drawings is an advantage.
- Immediate joining preferred.
