HyperNex Technologies LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Career Advisor to guide IT professionals and international candidates through every stage of their U.S. job search.
In this remote role, you will provide one-on-one career counseling, review and optimize ATS-friendly resumes, enhance LinkedIn profiles, conduct mock interviews, and help candidates develop effective job search strategies. You will work closely with our Profile Marketing, Recruitment, and Sales teams to ensure candidates are well-prepared for interviews and successfully positioned in the competitive U.S. job market.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and counseling skills, understands the U.S. IT recruitment landscape, and is passionate about helping professionals achieve their career goals. Experience in career counseling, recruitment, U.S. staffing, talent acquisition, or HR is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual career counseling sessions.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and career goals.
- Develop personalized career development plans.
- Review and optimize ATS-compliant resumes.
- Optimize LinkedIn profiles for recruiter visibility.
- Conduct HR, behavioral, and mock interview sessions.
- Guide candidates on U.S. job search strategies and interview preparation.
- Educate candidates on current U.S. hiring trends and employer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support candidate success.
- Maintain accurate records and track candidate progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Career Counseling, Recruitment, U.S. Staffing, Talent Acquisition, or Career Development.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ATS resumes, LinkedIn optimization, and the U.S. recruitment process is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment during the U.S. shift.
