Job Title: Coating Inspector / QC Paint Inspector
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Perform visual inspections and technical testing (including DFT checks, surface profile measurements, and environmental parameter checks using psychrometers).
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all surface preparation and coating applications comply with project specifications, SSPC, ISO, and AMPP/NACE standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection reports, daily logs, and quality control documentation.
- Client Coordination: Act as a bridge between the technical team and the client to communicate progress and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Safety & Standards: Monitor onsite HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) practices during coating operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: AMPP / NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 (Level 2 is a strong plus).
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial coating inspection, protective coatings, or marine/protective paint industries.
- Skills: Strong understanding of surface preparation methods (blasting, chemical cleaning) and coating systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client handling and reporting.
