Position Overview: Senior Purchase Executive
Statcon Electronics India Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement operations, vendor relationships, and ensure timely availability of quality materials for our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of raw materials, electronic components, and other parts as per production requirements
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate terms, and establish long-term supplier relationships
- Coordinate with internal departments including production, R&D, and inventory to forecast material needs
- Ensure timely release of purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery parameters
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
- Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality and timelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant procurement regulations
- Collaborate with accounts and logistics for invoice clearance and material receipt
Technical Requirements
- Min 03 to 06 Years of experience in Purchase and Vendor Development related to electrical and electronics Industry.
- Diploma or BTech in Electronics or Electrical or bachelor's with relevant industry experience
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relations
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and material requirements
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
