We are seeking a Plant Accountant to manage accounting and financial activities at our manufacturing facility in Nikol, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have experience in plant accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain plant accounts and financial records.
- Handle inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and perform variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile bank, vendor, and ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with production and stores departments.
- Assist with audits, GST compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Understanding of GST, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
