Social Media& Content Marketing Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital trends, content creation, storytelling, and social media growth. This role will focus heavily on creating engaging content across all digital platforms to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Design and write posts, captions, stories, reels, short-form videos, and marketing creatives aligned with the brand voice.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns and content calendars.
- Research social media trends, viral content formats, hashtags, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing/design team to develop creative campaign ideas.
- Support content marketing initiatives including blogs, email campaigns, and website content.
- Monitor engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports.
- Help manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and audience interactions.
- Assist in video shoots, editing, and content repurposing for multiple platforms.
- Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and visual identity across channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, LinkedIn content, YouTube Shorts, and trending digital formats.
- Creativity with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, Design, or related fields.
- Prior experience managing social media pages or creating digital content is preferred.
- Portfolio or sample work showcasing content creation skills is a bonus.
