We have urgent job opening in “SHIVA GROUP” Design Engineer – ELECTRICAL.
Experience: 10+ years of Experience.
Job Location: Malviya Nagar (Delhi- Head Office).
Qualification: B Tech in Electrical
Job Responsibilities:
The person should be B tech electrical. Knowledge of government projects must. Having experience of high rise and large scale residential or commercial buildings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical design layouts and drawings for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
- Design HT/LT power distribution systems, transformer sizing, DG backup systems, UPS systems, and panel schedules.
- Calculate electrical load requirements and prepare load distribution calculations.
- Design lighting systems, lux level calculations, lighting layouts, and lighting control systems.
- Design earthing and lightning protection systems as per applicable standards.
- Prepare cable sizing calculations, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit calculations.
- Design and coordinate fire alarm systems, PA systems, CCTV, access control, and other ELV systems.
- Develop single line diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, and riser diagrams.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, tender documents, and estimation support.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IEC, IS standards, local electrical regulations, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, HVAC, plumbing, and other disciplines for integrated building services.
- Review shop drawings, vendor drawings, and contractor submissions.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, or similar electrical design tools.
- Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and project coordination meetings.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed within schedule.
- Prepare as-built drawings and final project documentation.
- Ensure implementation of safety standards and energy-efficient design practices.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization activities.
