JOB DESCRIPTION:-
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and proficiency in industry-standard design tools. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in design engineering, with a focus on product development and detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to mechanical design projects from concept to production.
- Create and modify 3D models using Creo (mandatory).
- Prepare and review 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Experience in plastic product design and injection moulding processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design and detailing.
- Perform design validations, reviews, and optimizations for manufacturing feasibility.
- Conduct basic mechanical design calculations and develop P&ID diagrams as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
- Familiarity with Altair Hyperworks – added advantage.
- Experience working in ASME-certified industries – preferred.
- Exposure to the medical device domain – added advantage.
