As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases to maintain system stability and performance. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational needs while maintaining compatibility across systems. Collaboration with different teams to troubleshoot and optimize application functionality is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the software environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing code for high-performance database environments.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release processes.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party services within packaged applications.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend software functionalities.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in enterprise software.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
