1. Job Summary
Responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing unit, including employee records, attendance, recruitment coordination, payroll inputs, statutory compliance support, employee relations, joining and separation processes, HR MIS and factory HR activities. The role will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Accounts and other functional teams.
HR Operations & Employee Records
· Maintain accurate employee master data, personal files, joining documents and HR records.
· Ensure timely completion of employee onboarding and documentation.
· Maintain attendance, leave, shift and weekly-off records.
· Update HRMS/HRIS and employee records regularly.
· Issue HR letters, certificates and other employee documents.
Recruitment & Manpower Management
· Coordinate recruitment for production, quality, maintenance, warehouse and support functions.
· Prepare and circulate manpower requirements based on approved requisitions.
· Coordinate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling and candidate selection.
· Ensure timely joining of selected candidates and maintain recruitment trackers.
· Support manpower planning as per production requirements.
Attendance, Shift & Leave Management
· Monitor daily attendance, absenteeism, late coming, early leaving and unauthorized absence.
· Maintain shift rosters and weekly-off records in coordination with factory teams.
· Verify attendance inputs before payroll processing.
· Maintain accurate leave records and ensure adherence to company policy.
Payroll Coordination
· Collect and verify monthly payroll inputs.
· Check attendance, overtime, incentives, leave deductions, advances and other payroll inputs.
· Coordinate with Accounts/Payroll team for accurate and timely salary processing.
· Resolve employee payroll-related queries in coordination with concerned teams.
Statutory Compliance Support
· Support compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Labour Welfare and other applicable labour laws.
· Maintain statutory registers and required employee documentation.
· Coordinate with consultants/agencies for statutory compliance.
· Support labour inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
Factory HR & Employee Relations
· Handle day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing unit.
· Address employee grievances and coordinate timely resolution.
· Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
· Support disciplinary actions, warning letters and misconduct documentation.
· Coordinate with supervisors and department heads on employee-related issues.
Joining & Induction
· Complete joining formalities and document verification.
· Conduct employee induction and orientation.
· Explain company policies, attendance, leave, working hours and workplace discipline.
· Coordinate uniforms/PPE, ID cards and other joining requirements.
· Ensure proper department-wise deployment after joining.
Training & Employee Development
· Coordinate induction, safety, hygiene, food-safety and policy-related training.
· Maintain training attendance and records.
· Support identification of basic training requirements and employee development initiatives.
FMCG / Food Manufacturing Compliance
· Ensure employees follow hygiene, sanitation, grooming, uniform and food-safety requirements.
· Coordinate awareness activities related to factory hygiene and safety.
· Maintain relevant training and compliance documentation.
· Work closely with Production, Quality and Safety teams.
HR MIS & Reporting
· Prepare and maintain headcount, attendance, absenteeism, manpower, recruitment, joining and exit reports.
· Prepare attrition, overtime, leave, payroll-input and employee-movement reports.
· Ensure HR reports are accurate and submitted within defined timelines.
Employee Engagement
· Coordinate employee engagement, welfare, recognition and festival activities.
· Collect employee feedback and highlight concerns to management.
· Support initiatives aimed at employee retention and workplace satisfaction.
Separation & Full & Final Coordination
· Coordinate resignation and exit formalities.
· Conduct or coordinate exit interviews.
· Ensure proper clearance and asset handover.
· Coordinate Full & Final settlement inputs with Accounts.
· Issue relieving, experience and other separation documents.

5. Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of HR Operations and employee lifecycle processes.

· Basic working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.

6. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in HR, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations; experience in FMCG, food, bakery or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience handling factory/manpower-intensive HR operations will be an advantage.
7. Working Conditions
The role involves regular coordination with factory employees, supervisors and department heads and may require working in a manufacturing environment as per business and production requirements.
8. Job Objective
To ensure smooth, compliant and employee-focused HR operations while supporting manpower availability, employee discipline, payroll accuracy, statutory compliance and overall HR effectiveness within the FMCG manufacturing organization.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
