Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to manage and deliver client software projects in a service-based environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Lead will be responsible for understanding client requirements, managing project execution, maintaining healthy cash flow, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Understand client requirements thoroughly and translate them into clear project plans.
Lead end-to-end execution of multiple software development projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain clear, professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with developers, designers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively.
Track project milestones and provide regular updates to clients and management.
Manage project budgets, invoicing milestones, and cash flow to ensure financial health.
Ensure proper documentation, change request management, and project reporting.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the project team to achieve delivery goals.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams during project handovers and requirement discussions.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
0-1 year of experience as a Project Lead, Project Coordinator, or in a similar project management role within a software service-based company.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Good technical knowledge to effectively coordinate with development teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of project budgeting, billing milestones, and cash flow management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or Asana.
