Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate (B. Pharm) and postgraduate (M. Pharm, PhD) students in subjects like Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, etc..
- Curriculum Development: Design, update, and assess course materials and learning outcomes.
- Research: Conduct original research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and seek research grants.
- Mentorship: Guide and advise students on academic paths, career choices, and research projects.
- Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, contribute to academic administration, and build industry connections.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with new developments in pharmacy and related sciences.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: M. Pharm, PhD in a relevant specialization (e.g., Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics).
- Skills: Strong teaching, communication, time management, leadership, mentorship, and research skills.
- Experience: Relevant clinical or research experience is often required, with senior roles needing extensive teaching and research track records.
