About Derive World
Derive World Travel Shop is a Surat-based travel company providing customized domestic and international holiday packages, visa assistance, flight bookings, hotel reservations and complete travel planning services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Travel Sales Executive who is interested in building a career in the travel and tourism industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle travel enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, social media and website leads
- Understand customers’ travel requirements, destinations, dates and budgets
- Suggest suitable domestic and international holiday packages
- Prepare quotations and customized travel itineraries
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Explain package inclusions, exclusions, hotel options and travel arrangements clearly
- Coordinate with the visa, operations, hotel and ticketing teams
- Maintain proper customer records and follow-up updates
- Develop good relationships with existing and new customers
- Achieve monthly sales and enquiry-conversion targets
- Provide professional support before and after booking confirmation
Candidate Requirements
- Fresher candidates are welcome
- Graduate or undergraduate candidates may apply
- Good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi and basic English
- Confident while communicating with customers over calls and WhatsApp
- Basic computer knowledge, including email, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Interest in travel, tourism and international destinations
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good follow-up and customer-handling skills
- Must be punctual, responsible and comfortable working from the office
- Sales experience is not compulsory; complete job training will be provided
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of popular domestic and international destinations
- Basic understanding of flights, hotels, visas and holiday packages
- Social media and online lead-handling knowledge
- Ability to prepare attractive travel quotations
- Target-oriented and customer-friendly personality
