Key Responsibilities
- Inspections: Perform visual and manual inspections of products and components at various stages of the production process.
- Testing: Conduct functional tests using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or specialized testing equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including detailed reports on any rejected items or non-conformances.
- Compliance: Ensure all production processes adhere to company standards and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, or ASTM).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to identify root causes of defects and suggest process improvements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all measurement tools and laboratory equipment are calibrated and in good working order.
