Job Purpose
To drive business performance and strategic decision-making through data analytics, management information systems (MIS), and business intelligence solutions across CPS, CL, CPM, and NDS segments. The role is responsible for providing actionable insights, developing reporting frameworks, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and promoting adoption of analytics tools to improve business productivity, efficiency, and growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver meaningful business insights through analysis of complex datasets across SME Banking and Institutional Banking segments.
- Develop, automate, and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions supporting CPS, CL, CPM, and NDS businesses.
- Support strategic planning through timely and accurate management reporting.
- Drive business performance monitoring by identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Improve data accessibility and visualization capabilities across business units.
- Drive adoption and utilization of analytics platforms and dashboards among end-users.
- Support productivity, cost optimization, and efficiency improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy across all analytics deliverables.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision-making for the SME Banking and Institutional Banking segments
- Develop and maintain robust reporting and analytics solutions to support the CPS, CL, CPM, and NDS business units
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data-driven solutions
- Prepare and present comprehensive MIS reports for all segments of CPS, CL, CPM, and NDS to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Drive user adoption and engagement of analytics tools and dashboards to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management review and business performance tracking.
- Collaborate with CPS, CL, CPM, and NDS stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements.
- Work closely with Technology, Operations, Finance, and Business teams to implement data and reporting enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete all mandatory learning, compliance, and certification programs as assigned by the Bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics in the banking or financial services industry
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey analytical findings to stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in driving user adoption and engagement of analytics tools and solutions
