Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical products as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and BOM.
- Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, and cable routing.
- Read and understand wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and wiring schedules.
- Use hand tools, crimping tools, soldering stations, and testing equipment.
- Conduct continuity, insulation, and functional testing of harness assemblies.
- Identify and report quality issues or assembly defects.
- Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards (preferred).
- Maintain production records and complete assigned work within the target time.
- Follow ESD, safety, and 5S practices on the production floor.
- Support onsite harness assembly and installation activities at customer locations whenever required.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of wire harness assembly processes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with crimping, soldering, and cable dressing.
- Familiarity with connectors, terminals, ferrules, heat-shrink sleeves, and cable ties.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection and testing methods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel for onsite customer support.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
