Job Summary
The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for managing the reception area, greeting visitors, handling telephone calls, coordinating appointments, maintaining office records, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, vendors, and employees professionally.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls promptly.
- Maintain the visitor register and issue visitor passes as per company policy.
- Receive, sort, and distribute couriers, parcels, and official correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting rooms.
- Maintain front office cleanliness and ensure a pleasant reception environment.
- Coordinate with HR and Administration for employee attendance, interviews, and onboarding support.
- Maintain office stationery inventory and raise requisitions when required.
- Assist in preparing reports, letters, and office documentation.
- Support travel bookings, hotel reservations, and other administrative activities when required.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for office upkeep.
- Handle customer inquiries courteously and direct them to the concerned department.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by the management.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Diploma or certification in Office Administration is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Receptionist or Front Office Executive.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Good command of English, Kannada, and Hindi (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
