Tender Executive Job Description
A tender executive is someone who is responsible for helping organizations prepare and evaluate bids and tenders for valuable contracts. They coordinate and communicate with all the different stakeholders involved, analyze requirements of a tender, and develop key solutions.
Tender Executive Responsibilities Include
Develop Key Solutions: Study and understand the tender requirements and develop the most effective and suitable strategy and solution for the organization to submit a bid
Manage Documents: Manage the documents provided by potential suppliers, evaluate pricing and prepare documentation for the tender
Coordinate With Internal and External Stakeholders: Analyze tenders, coordinate efforts internally, communicate with potential and current suppliers, and negotiate their terms
Examine Proposals: Study and review proposals and assess cost efficiency and other risks involved
Strategize Presentation Development: Develop compelling correspondence, create impressive presentations for tender submission, and ensure compliance with tender guidelines
Job Brief
We are looking for a Tender Executive to join our team and coordinate our documentation, proposal writing, and communication with suppliers and stakeholders. You should be able to use your effective solutions to process bids and generate reports. You will be responsible for administering and formulating strategies to ensure successful outcomes in tenders and submissions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate bids and contracts: Analyze bids and contracts for price, quality and technical specifications of goods and services
Monitor bids: Monitor the submission of bids and ensure they are accurately completed and meet the requirements of the tendering process
Prepare reports: Prepare detailed reports and analyses on bid and contract costs
Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to reach favorable agreements
Use project management techniques: Utilize project management techniques and software to effectively manage bids and tender projects
Education: Minimum requires a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: - Minimum 10-15 Years Experience of Government Construction Project Tendering Filed.
(IV) Quantity Surveyor
A Quantity Surveyor for a water pipeline project manages all financial and commercial aspects, from estimating pipe and excavation costs to final account settlements. They optimize budgets for materials like ductile iron or HDPE pipes, draft tenders, process interim valuations, and evaluate contract variations.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Budgeting
Perform precise quantity take-offs from design drawings and alignment sheets (e.g., pipe length, diameter, valves, fittings, and thrust blocks).
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for materials, labor, and heavy machinery (excavators, dewatering pumps).
Develop initial project budgets and continuously update cost forecasts
Essential Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Commercial Management.
Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in infrastructure, specifically linear utility or pipeline projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software like AutoCAD, Candy, or CostX, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of soil excavation, trenching safety, and hydraulic structures, WTP, STP, ETP & Pipeline Work.
