About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and technically proficient FPV Drone Pilot to operate, maintain, repair, and support FPV and other advanced UAV systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in FPV drone flying, assembly, troubleshooting, mission execution, and field operations, along with a sound understanding of drone safety and DGCA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Operate FPV, DJI, agriculture, and custom-built drones for various aerial missions.
Conduct manual and autonomous flight operations, including pre-flight planning and post-flight checks.
Execute aerial missions for surveying, surveillance, thermal imaging, videography, and other project requirements.
Assemble, configure, test, repair, and maintain custom FPV drones, including 3.5", 5", 7", and 10" configurations.
Troubleshoot flight controllers, firmware, motors, ESCs, batteries, FPV systems, and other drone components.
Perform regular pre-flight inspections, equipment checks, battery management, and post-flight analysis to ensure operational readiness.
Plan flight missions considering terrain, weather, operational requirements, and safety protocols.
Maintain proper inventory of drones, batteries, tools, spare parts, and accessories.
Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to drone operators/team members on FPV flying, components, repair, and safe handling.
Support drone operations in diverse and challenging field environments.
Ensure compliance with applicable DGCA guidelines, safety procedures, and organizational protocols.
Prepare and maintain flight records, mission reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand mission requirements and ensure successful project execution.
Support troubleshooting and technical resolution during field operations.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in FPV drone flying and operations.
Hands-on experience in FPV drone assembly, repair, configuration, and maintenance.
Knowledge of flight controllers, firmware, ESCs, motors, batteries, and FPV components.
Understanding of flight planning and mission execution.
Knowledge of DGCA regulations and drone safety guidelines.
Experience with thermal imaging and aerial surveying will be an advantage.
Strong field adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Good documentation and reporting abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
Willingness to travel extensively for field assignments and projects.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Aviation, or a related technical field.
DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) for Small/Medium category drones preferred/required as applicable.
Relevant experience in FPV drone operations, UAV technology, drone maintenance, or aerial missions.
Candidates with experience in drone training, field operations, surveying, surveillance, or defence-related projects will be preferred.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on FPV enthusiast and technically capable drone professional who can not only fly drones but also independently assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and prepare them for demanding field missions.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
