Job Summary:
The sales manager will oversee and drive the sales operations of the car rental business. This role involves developing strategies to increase revenue, managing a sales team, and building strong relationships with corporate and individual clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the car rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the rental cab business in your assigned city.
- Set and achieve sales targets to meet organizational goals.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adjust sales strategies.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Report sales performance through regular reporting.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales processes.
- Report on sales metrics, forecasting, and client feedback to the management team.
- Business Development:
- Use LinkedIn, the company's website, or business directories to map out the hierarchy and identify key decision-makers (e.g., Sales Director, Operations Manager, Procurement Head).
- Target individuals with authority in budget approvals, vendor selection, or contract negotiations.
- Lead the acquisition of new corporate accounts, partnerships, and alliances.
- Attend industry events or join business forums where decision-makers are likely to be present.
- Leverage existing connections or referrals to reach key stakeholders directly.
- Market Expansion and Brand Building:
- Identify new market opportunities within your city and suggest new service offerings to cater to evolving customer needs.
- Promote the company's services and strengthen brand presence in the local market.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation, cab rental, or related industries.
- Experience managing a sales team and driving business growth.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Candidate from car rental, travel, tourism, or the hotel industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and sales management tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets consistently.
- Languages: Fluency in English and regional languages.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor landscape in the rental cab industry.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
