Job Summary
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort. The role ensures the safe and uninterrupted operation of electrical installations while maintaining high standards of guest comfort, operational efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, laundry, offices, and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain electrical panels, switchboards, lighting systems, generators, UPS systems, pumps, and motors.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and electrical breakdowns.
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC electrical components and other electrical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain emergency lighting and power backup systems.
- Perform routine inspections and record maintenance activities in the logbook.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with electrical safety standards and resort policies.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce power consumption.
- Coordinate with other departments to complete maintenance work with minimal disruption to guests.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good working condition.
- Support engineering projects, renovations, and installations as assigned.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in hotels, resorts, or commercial establishments.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, motors, generators, and power distribution systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical systems is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
Working Conditions
- Work involves standing, climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working in indoor and outdoor environments.
- May be required to attend emergency breakdowns outside regular working hours.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
