About Us
Jungle Park Resort is a luxury jungle retreat located atop one of Wayanad's highest mountains, approximately 4,500 ft above sea level. Surrounded by 900 acres of dense rainforest and overlooking a misty lake, the resort offers guests a unique blend of wilderness, comfort, and authentic hospitality.
We are looking for a passionate and guest-focused Front Office Executive who enjoys nature, loves interacting with people, and is comfortable living and working in a peaceful forest environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle reservations, room allocations, and guest requests efficiently.
- Manage phone calls, emails, WhatsApp inquiries, and guest communications professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain guest records and update PMS/front office systems accurately.
- Assist guests with information about resort activities, sightseeing, jeep safaris, nature experiences, and local attractions.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain front office documentation.
- Ensure high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction throughout the guest journey.
- Support resort operations whenever required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Reception, or a similar hospitality role.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Friendly, confident, and guest-focused personality.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel reservation systems/PMS.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of front office operations.
- Comfortable living and working in a remote resort environment.
- Interest in nature, outdoor experiences, and interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to occasionally assist guests with short nature walks or outdoor activities when required (not a full-time naturalist role).
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in resorts, eco-resorts, plantation resorts, luxury homestays, or nature-based hospitality properties.
- Enjoys nature, peaceful surroundings, and outdoor environments.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to create memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality.
