Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager who can handle both lead generation and client conversion. The ideal candidate should be able to identify opportunities, connect with potential clients, nurture relationships, and close deals effectively.
Candidates with prior experience in a digital marketing agency will be preferred. Experience in handling government contracts, tenders, and government/enterprise-style business opportunities will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to conversion.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Reach out to potential clients through email, LinkedIn, calls, and other channels.
- Conduct discovery calls and understand client requirements.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
- Follow up consistently to convert leads into business opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding.
- Track and report sales activities using CRM tools.
- Assist in identifying and responding to government tenders and contract opportunities, if applicable.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Good understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email outreach, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong ability to convert leads into business.
- Prior experience working with a digital marketing agency is preferred.
- Knowledge of government tender filing and contract acquisition is a plus.
Compensation
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month
