Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Website Manager with 3+ years of experience to manage and optimize the company's website from end to end. The ideal candidate will be responsible for website development, maintenance, SEO, performance optimization, content updates, website security, and improving search engine rankings. The role requires strong technical knowledge along with digital marketing and SEO expertise to ensure an excellent user experience and maximum online visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's website end-to-end, ensuring high availability, functionality, and performance.
- Develop, update, and maintain website pages using CMS platforms (WordPress or similar) and basic web technologies.
- Plan and execute on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Perform keyword research and implement SEO best practices across all web pages.
- Monitor website indexing, crawl errors, broken links, redirects, and technical SEO issues.
- Publish, edit, and optimize website content, landing pages, blogs, and product/service pages.
- Coordinate with content writers, graphic designers, and marketing teams for timely website updates.
- Integrate and manage forms, plugins, APIs, chatbots, and third-party tools.
- Track website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools.
- Generate regular reports on website traffic, SEO performance, conversions, and ranking improvements.
- Ensure website security, backups, plugin updates, and compliance with industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with developers when required.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in SEO, website development, and search engine algorithms.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and PageSpeed Insights.
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Experience optimizing website performance and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, SSL certificates, and DNS settings.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and website conversion optimization.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Web Development, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress, or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing business or corporate websites.
- Experience handling website development, maintenance, SEO, and performance optimization.
- Proven track record of improving website rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation.
- Experience working with marketing teams and web developers on end-to-end website projects.
