Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of Home Automation and Smart Home Systems. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electrical systems, automation technologies, networking basics, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission home automation systems and smart devices.
- Work on smart lighting, curtain automation, security systems, CCTV, access control, and IoT solutions.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and system testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems and connected devices.
- Perform maintenance and service support for installed systems.
- Coordinate with customers and project teams for successful project execution.
- Demonstrate system functionality and provide end-user training.
- Prepare installation reports, service records, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of home automation and smart home technologies.
- Understanding of electrical wiring and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control systems, and IoT devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Chennai.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, EEE, ECE, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Home Automation, Smart Home Solutions, ELV Systems, Electrical Projects, or Technical Services.
