About the Role:
"To ensure accurate payroll input coordination and region/client-specific timesheet processing by adhering to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
" The Payroll Associate will play a key role in supporting payroll operations through accurate timesheet processing, data validation, stakeholder coordination, and payroll administration activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Input Coordination: Coordinate and validate payroll-related inputs received from employees, contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Timesheet Processing: End-to-end processing and checking of timesheets (Weekly, Fortnightly, and/or Monthly).
- Mailbox Management: Maintain payroll mailboxes and respond promptly to payroll-related queries.
- Data Accuracy: Thoroughly review payroll inputs and timesheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Error-Free Processing: Ensure zero tolerance for errors in payroll input validation, timesheet processing, and maintenance of Excel trackers.
- Issue Resolution: Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve payroll and timesheet-related issues.
- Special Instructions: Communicate payroll exceptions and special instructions to the payroll processing teams.
- Invoice Support: Arrange and support backup documentation for invoices to be delivered to clients.
- Record Maintenance: Update and maintain payroll records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Confidentiality: Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information strictly confidential.
- Team Contribution: Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related payroll and administrative tasks as needed.
- Policy Adherence: Follow payroll policies and procedures while highlighting process improvement opportunities.
- Report Assistance: Assist Payroll Supervisors with payroll reports, reconciliations, and operational requirements.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Payroll Operations, Payroll Administration, Timesheet Processing, HR Operations, or similar corporate functions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll-related systems.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with discretion.
