Job Responsibilities
· Food Preparation (Mise-en-place): Washing, peeling, cutting vegetables, and cleaning/butchering meat, chicken, and fish.
· Cooking Assistance: Assisting in the preparation of Indian gravies, curries, tandoori items (naan, roti), and rice dishes.
· Non-Veg Specialization: Marination and preparation of meat, fish, and poultry products.
· Kitchen Hygiene: Ensuring all areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to safety standards.
· Stock Management: Monitoring inventory, replenishing stock, and storing raw materials properly.
· Order Fulfillment: Preparing dishes in a timely manner to meet high-quality standards.
Requirements and Skills –
· Experience: Generally requires 0.5 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
· Education: Minimum qualification is often below 10th or 12th pass.
· Knowledge: Familiarity with basic cooking techniques, Indian spices, and health safety standards.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
· Skills: Good time management, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
