➢ Summary: The candidate will be responsible to ensure that a product is completely stable and . this needs to be
accomplished by working closely with QA Lead and team, Development & Portfolio teams through early design
of test plan, test cases, automation and reporting results to the concerned team for the assigned
projects/products.
➢ Job Description:
a. Review and analyze business requirements, user stories and architecture diagrams
b. Gain product and business understanding and apply it in testing activities to improve test coverage and
identify defects
c. Develop and execute test plan, test cases with the requisite details and capture test evidence.
d. Test planning and execution with focus to ensure end to end testing considering enhancements,
impacted areas
e. Impacted areas analysis and enhancing manual, automation regression test packs
f. Analyze, plan and prepare test data to be used for manual, automated test execution
g. Adherence to the established processes and best practices.
h. Identify defects and track them through the defect life cycle.
i. Develop, Maintain, debug automation scripts using existing TestNG based framework for Change and
Regression.
j. Enhance framework and create reusable methods on need basis.
k. Conduct effective self-review of own deliverables and peer reviews.
l. Publish test status reports on-demand or as per defined milestones in line with the established
framework.
m. Work with diverse, distributed teams and collaborate with internal teams.
n. Guide fellow Quality engineers, evangelizing best practices of testing, automation and technical
processes.
➢ Required Skills:
a. Hands-on experience in Software Testing.
b. Hands-on experience in test automation in Selenium with Core Java using standard frameworks (Hybrid,
Keyword, TestNG).
c. Strong knowledge of SDLC, software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
d. Solid understanding of OOPs concepts
e. Experience in API Testing using– SoapUI, Postman, Rest assured ; or Database Testing skills with SQL
f. Experience on Performance testing tools - Jmeter
g. Experienced with version control systems like SVN, Git.
h. Know-how to setup Continuous Integration tools will be an advantage.
i. Knowledge or working experience of agile methodology
j. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with cross functional remote teams.
Fluency in English is a MUST.
k. Self-starter and proactive with a strong sense of urgency to get the job done on time with quality.
l. Demonstrate ability to learn new skills and improve upon current skills quickly within a continually
changing, challenging environment.
➢ Time zone & Public Holidays: Candidates are required to work in South African time zone and follow South
African holiday calendar irrespective of their location.
Interview Process
· Prerequisite: Candidate should connect to the Teams call on a laptop. The laptop should have Selenium, Eclipse/IntelliJ project and dependencies setup before joining the session.
· Discussion Agenda:
1. Software Testing Concepts
2. Test Automation Concepts, Tools
3. Framework, Selenium & OOPs fundamentals, API/ DB Testing
4. Exercise in Selenium with Java
· Candidates will be required to share screen while attempting the practical exercise.
· Any candidate not willing to switch on video while on the call or share screen while doing the practical exercises will not be considered for the interview.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
