About the Organization
Antahin Abha Foundation is a non-profit organization working toward improving foundational learning, early childhood education, student well-being, and community engagement through innovative educational programs and last-mile implementation support. Through the NRich ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) Model, the organization focuses on strengthening classroom practices, activity-based learning, teacher capacity building, and continuous mentoring support for educators and partner institutions.
As the organization scales the ECCE program across the low resource communities across West Bengal it is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to support proactive planning — including task estimation, dependency management, risk mitigation, and structured decision-making.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Will lead the expansion of early childhood education in the state of West Bengal. In this role the Program Manager will be responsible for recruiting, supervising, and developing Field Coordinators and conducting outreach drives with various stakeholders.
Location: South and North 24 Parganas / Howrah
Mandatory Requirements: Fluency in Bengali, English (written and spoken). Willingness to travel (40 – 60%)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build strong relationships with the state and district government stakeholders.
- Plan community level outreach to conduct field level need analysis.
- Prepare implementation plan with actionable milestones.
- Hold regular meetings to collaborate with govt partners, understand their work, and build personal relationships.
- Meet with ground level partner schools, the children, parents, ICDS and Primary school workers, and district and block level officials and build relationships.
- Build team committed to grow early childhood education across the local communities.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Essential Qualifications & Experience
1. Graduate/Post-Graduate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in ECCE, with at least 3 years in field level and leadership role.
3. Demonstrated expertise in working with state and local level Government leadership.
4. Familiarity with ICDS and primary ecosystems, and school-readiness practices in West Bengal.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools
6. Experience with or openness to learning chatbot platforms and AI content tools.
Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
