We have urgent opening for position of Sales Engineer/ Senior Sales Engineer-Tender
Designation: Sales Engineer/ Senior Sales Engineer- Tender
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- · Generated enquiries & Tenders with the technical specification by visiting client sites, plants, and offices.
- · Sourced enquiries from company sales emails, live tender/enquiry list and through professional contacts
- · Reviewed email enquiries received from Sales or HOD/Manager.
- · Studied technical specifications and clarified requirements by speaking with customers.
- · Prepared cost estimates to determine competitive offer pricing.
- · Analyzed complete tender documents, including technical specifications, prequalification’s, bidding procedures, etc
- · Prepared cost estimates and finalized pricing for submission with the price bids.
- · Conducted technical discussions & other require discussions with customers.
- · Planned and attended customer visits or Pre bid meeting as required.
- · Developed and prepared detailed technical specifications for specialized vehicles such as: various types of Fire Tenders, Rescue Vehicles, Hazmat Vehicles, Police Vehicles, Boom Tower vehicle, Aerial Ladder Platforms (ALP), Turntable Ladders (TTL), etc
- · Created detailed technical sheets, reports and Make & Model for major vehicle components and systems.
- · Prepared detailed techno-commercial offers with proper terms & conditions and submitted the offers upon approval from HOD/Manager
- · Collected and analyzed market intelligence regarding tenders and enquiries to support strategic decision-making and sales planning activities.
- · Coordinated with Tender Executives to compile technical and financial bids.
- · Ensured accurate and timely upload and submission tenders on tender portals.
- · Coordinated with the Tender Executives for maintaining all the records in proper Sheet about the Live Tenders or Enquiries, Tenders needs to be Quoted, Tenders Not-Quoted, Budgetary Offers needs to be sent, Tenders or Offers submitted, etc.
- · Coordinated with the vendors and sent enquiries for outsourced fire & safety equipment and Conducted discussions & meetings with the vendors for business development and sales planning.
- · Coordinated and attended stage inspections with customers at the Factory
- · Visited factory for project-related activities when required.
- · Coordinated with Production & Quality departments for production planning to ensure that the product would be delivered within the delivery period.
- · Coordinated with Commercial, Finance, Purchase, and other departments for smooth project execution.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- · Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical
- · Proven experience in a sales engineering role or a similar technical sales position.
- · Strong understanding of Gem Portal
- · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
