The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring dealership infrastructure projects, including new branch setup, showroom development, workshop construction, renovation, warehouse development, and facility upgrades. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company and OEM standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning
- Plan and execute new showroom, workshop, warehouse, and office projects.
- Prepare project schedules and timelines.
- Estimate project costs and resource requirements.
Site Execution
- Supervise day-to-day construction and interior work.
- Ensure work quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Monitor contractor performance and progress.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and suppliers.
- Verify work completion before processing bills.
- Ensure materials are delivered as per project requirements.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project expenses against the approved budget.
- Control material wastage and project costs.
- Prepare project cost reports.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Finance, Administration, IT, and Operations teams.
- Ensure project readiness before branch handover.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain project drawings, BOQs, work orders, and project files.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and Mahindra dealership guidelines.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, retail, dealership, or industrial projects.
- Experience in automobile dealership projects will be preferred.
