Front office receptionists
- Visitor Management: Welcoming guests, announcing arrivals, and issuing visitor badges to maintain security.
- Communication: Answering, screening, and forwarding calls, as well as managing company emails and mail.
- Administration: Scheduling meetings, managing calendars, filing documents, and ordering office supplies.
- Customer Service: Providing information, addressing inquiries, and maintaining a clean, professional reception area.
- Industry-Specific Duties: In hotels, they handle guest check-ins/check-outs and payments; in offices, they may assist with travel arrangements or meeting minutes.
Essential Skills:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple visitors, calls, and tasks simultaneously.
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, and office equipment (printers, copiers).
- Professionalism: A welcoming, courteous demeanour with strong organizational skills.
