About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Executive with 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management. Exposure to Automation Testing is highly preferred and will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
- Assist in Automation Testing activities whenever required and contribute to automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in writing effective test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.
- Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to Automation Testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or any equivalent framework is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in Software Testing or Automation Testing is a plus.
